Marble Inlay Flooring Project Background & Vision

Avalokitesvara Dharmadhatu, également connu sous le nom de "Guanyin Dharma Realm", est le plus grand complexe bouddhiste au monde dédié à Guanyin.

Ce chef-d'œuvre architectural intègre la culture religieuse, la pratique spirituelle, les expositions d'art, les échanges internationaux et les services touristiques, ce qui en fait l'un des projets culturels bouddhistes les plus complets au monde.

En tant que contributeur clé à ce grand projet, Stone Master s'est vu confier la conception et la production du sol en marqueterie de marbre.

L'objectif était de créer un motif hypnotique qui s'harmonise avec l'ambiance sacrée, en incorporant des motifs bouddhistes complexes avec un savoir-faire artisanal inégalé.

Design et symbolisme des incrustations de marbre

Stone Master’s design showcases a series of traditional Buddhist symbols, meticulously crafted to enhance the spiritual essence of the site:

• Lotus Flower: A representation of purity and enlightenment in Buddhism
• Turtle Fishing: A depiction of Guanyin’s mythical ride, symbolizing wisdom and longevity
• Auspicious Clouds & Water Waves: Emblems of peace, harmony, and divine blessings

Chaque projet a d'abord été dessiné à la main par des artistes professionnels, puis converti en dessins CAO précis pour l'exécution.

Marble Inlay Flooring Buddhism Temple Challenges & Technical Expertise

La création de la plus grande incrustation de marbre au monde sur le thème du bouddhisme a posé d'immenses défis :

• Precision Cutting & Assembly: Many marble components measured just 2-3mm, making cutting and fitting incredibly complex.

Le processus de découpe au jet d'eau à haute pression risquait de déplacer de minuscules fragments de pierre, ce qui nécessitait plusieurs tentatives de découpe pour une seule pièce.

• Material Selection: The team conducted rigorous material sourcing, rejecting any marble that did not meet the highest quality standards.

Ce processus a été répété plus de dix fois pour obtenir l'effet final.

• Special-shaped Division: To maintain the seamless integrity of complex motifs, especially the fish dragon patterns, special-shaped division techniques were used.

Cela a considérablement augmenté la difficulté de la production, mais a permis d'obtenir un aspect final impeccable.

Small marble inlay parts only 2-3mm.

The smaller the stone, the easier it is to be hit away by the high pressure of the waterjet machine, and sometimes for a small stone, no less than dozens of cutting.

All the marble inlay are handmade.

It takes a lot of time to find the accurate stone parts from a pile of stone.

Straight line is the traditional and normal division way of waterjet pattern medallion.

In order to achieve perfect effect of the whole marble inlay pattern and not to separate fish dragon body, we choose special-shaped division.

It greatly increase work difficulty.

The division line of marble inlay parts is highlighted in red. To make sure every body of fish and fish dragon is not separated.
